The ArtsPark at Young Circle is located in downtown Hollywood, Florida. It’s a 10-acre park which immerses you in a little bit of everything artistic, from Architecture to Landscape Art. It features two beautifully designed Pavilions, the Visual Arts Pavilion, which has a painting studio, a glass blowing studio, and an exhibition hall. While the Performing Arts Pavilion features a similarly designed stage with lawn seating, where you can enjoy a free concert from a variety of musical genres. The park was designed by Glavovic Studio, Inc a Fort Lauderdale-based architectural and urban design firm. Led by Project Designer Margi Nothard. I love how they were able to merge and more importantly balance out the simplicity of geometric beauty with the organic beauty of nature. It gives me of a futuristic nature kinda vibe. Another one of my favorite aspects of the park is an integrated artwork created by internationally renowned Japanese artist Ritsuko Taho, entitled Millennium Springs, this piece consists of a long, narrow fountain, a walkway, a sculpture, a ceremonial rope around a baobob tree, and sound poles which produces a very relaxing ambient sound. A beautiful sight to behold that you can visualize, feel and hear all at the same time. Pictures alone can't do her work justice. I recommend you experience it right before sunset if ever you’re in the area.
